Purchase a trail booklet from the Derby Visitors Centre prior to your visit. The informative booklet will ensure you get the most out of the walk, with a detailed map and list of animals and plants that have been discovered in the area.
The path can be sandy during the dry season, so sturdy walking shoes are recommended along with water and insect repellent. The start of the walk trail is a ten minute drive from the town of Derby, and a two hour drive east of Broome.
