The Lovell Gallery, (previously known as the Lovell Diversion Gallery or the Diversion Gallery) is well located in the centre of Kununurra. You will be inspired by the outstanding array of local artworks on display.
Situated 10 kilometres from Derby on the Gibb River Road and appearing from the air as a giant Wandjina, Mowanjum Art and Culture Centre features an art gallery and artist's studio, museum and theatrette aimed to educate the public about the culture of the Mowanjum people.
The Monsoon Gallery is housed in historic Captain Gregory's House in Old Broome. View their stunning range of artworks, Asian and tropical influenced furniture, jewellery and artefacts. The gallery is located adjacent to Broome’s only microbrewery, where you can discuss your appreciation of the art as you enjoy a locally brewed beverage in the beer garden overlooking stunning Roebuck Bay.
Access is by four wheel drive vehicle only. Situated in Coondiner Creek is the spectacular Eagle Rock Falls. In the wet, water cascades over two falls of 12 metres and 60 metres, permanent pools are at the base of both falls.
Burrup Peninsula is home to one of Australia’s most incredible aboriginal rock art sites. Part of the Dampier Archipelago on the north west coast, the Burrup Peninsula contains the largest concentration of rock art in the world.
