Kununurra adventure - five days

Day one

Arrive into Kununurra, the home of outback adventure and check into your accommodation. Late afternoon, join a cruise on beautiful Lake Kununurra and enjoy a delicious barbeque dinner as you watch the sun set over the lake.

Day two

Join a thrilling day cruise up the Ord River to Lake Argyle. See a plethora of native flora and fauna, have a swim in the clear fresh water and enjoy a gourmet luncheon. Or, if you are keen on fishing, why not join a tour on the Lower Ord and chase the elusive Barramundi.

Day three

Take to the air on a scenic flight to the World Heritage Listed Purnululu National Park, home of the Bungle Bungle Range. Spend the day exploring this amazing park with a local guide. Tonight, your dinner is served under a blanket of a million stars.

Day four

After breakfast, a scenic flight takes you over the largest operating diamond mine in the world, as you make your way to the million acre El Questro Wilderness Park. Spend the day
on a leisurely hike through spectacular gorge country and swim in fresh waterholes and thermal hot springs. Your menu tonight features the very best Kimberley cuisine.

Day five

Before your homeward transfers, spend this morning exploring Kununurra’s many contemporary and Indigenous art and craft galleries, not forgetting the Argyle Diamond and South Sea Pearl showrooms.
