Diving and fishing cruise

Day one

Your journey begins in the pearling port of Broome. Embark in the early evening for a cocktail before we depart. Dinner is served as we begin the overnight cruise to the Rowley Shoals.

Day two

We arrive early at Imperieuse Reef, and breakfast before exploring the crystal clear waters, clouds of fish and colourful corals of the atoll’s huge lagoon. Go beachcombing on Cunningham Island, snorkel or try ‘catch and release’ lagoon fishing using eco-friendly tackle.

Day three

Start the day with a short cruise to Clerke Reef and a visit to the Aquarium to enjoy world-class snorkelling among coloured corals, giant clams and more than 600 of the world’s most beautiful fish species. After lunch try an introductory SCUBA dive or hand-feed maori wrasse and potato cod from the back steps before enjoying some high-speed snorkel drifts through the outer reef. We drop anchor in the swimming-pool-like waters of Clerke Lagoon where we spend the night.

Day four

Enjoy an early morning swim and breakfast before we head out of the lagoon to experience the thrill of outer-reef snorkelling from the cruise boat. Close encounters with humpback whales, manta rays and sailfish are also on the agenda as we cruise the outer reef. Finish the day with sunset drinks on the beach.

Day five

Take a morning stroll on your very own sand cay before we cruise to Mermaid Reef. Spend the day exploring the outer reef of this remote and untouched wilderness before we begin our journey back to Broome. In the evening, join the crew at the Captain’s Party.

Day six

Disembark at Broome around 8:00am. Transfer to the airport or your accommodation.
