Kununurra Backpackers is a 74-bed budget accommodation guest house. There are three buildings for accommodation situated around large garden areas with water features, dining areas, a swimming pool, BBQ area and hammocks. The hostel’s backdrop is the stunning Kelly’s Knob with its ever-changing colours. There is plenty of space to move, relax and get away from it all. We offer clean, safe, fully air-conditioned accommodation with a very relaxed atmosphere, a “home away from home” for the international traveller.
The hostel offers a range of facilities, including a large fully equipped communal kitchen, Free WIFI, laundry room, TV room with Foxtel and DVD, gardens to unwinds after a long day of sightseeing or work.
The reception area is a central relaxing and meeting point with sofas and big wooden tables to eat or play games on.
Kununurra Backpackers has 19 rooms and can accommodate up to 74 people. There are a number of 4 bed dorms, 8-10 bed dorms, double and twin rooms. The rooms are comfortable, and all have ceiling fans and air-conditioning. All bathroom amenities are shared with additional ablution blocks available.
It is advisable to book in advance during the dry season, April – November
Please note: Linen is supplied. Blankets are available. No sleeping bags or personal bedding is permitted in the hostel.
A cancellation policy does apply for bookings cancelled 24 hours prior to check in and one night’s accommodation will be charged for no shows.
