Take a scenic drive through the Valley and visit WA’s oldest continually operating legal Still. Enjoy one of our many different rum tastings or a slice of our famous Ord River Rum Cake or Cheesecake, you can even take some home because you won't be able to stop at just one taste!!
After your rum tasting you can stay for a bit and enjoy a relaxing lunch at our café. You can’t go past the wild Barramundi and local-favourite, roast pumpkin and chia salad, or for something heartier you can get stuck in to a big helping of Spike’s Famous Beans and Corn Bread.
The kids can play in our Hoochery Cubby House while you enjoy a coffee and a slice of our famous Ord River Rum Cake, cheesecake, or one of the other homemade treats we’ve got for you—including ice cream for the kids.
The café’s open all year round for coffee and cake, and our counter lunches run during the Dry Season, May to September, 11am—2pm.

From the Kununurra Visitor Centre car park turn left onto Coolibah Drive, travel 10m and then turn right onto Leichhardt Street
Go to the end of Leichhardt Street, at the T-Junction turn left, travel 15km down Weaber Plains Road (at the 6km mark you will pass the ORD Co-op and at the 14km mark you will pass the Sandalwood Café).
We are on the right hand side of the road with a large Hoochery sign on view, you can't miss us!
