Spend 7 days cruising along the Kimberley coast on a small group charter with friends and family. Explore the best of the region on this Kimberley cruise, ideal for people wanting to see the area without the large expense. Charters depart north of Broome from the Dampier Peninsula exploring the Buccaneer Archipelago, one of the most remote coastlines in Western Australia.
Over the seven full days you’ll have plenty of time to witness some of the sights the north west of WA is world renowned for.
You’ll see up-close a staggering array of wildlife on the daily excursions, ranging from estuarine crocodiles (the “salty”), sea turtles, dolphins and other marine life to the huge variety of colourful and unique birdlife.
We’ll show you the spectacle of Montgomery Reef, where twice a day as the tide ebbs, the reef is exposed and water flows off in mini-waterfalls.
Along the way you’ll have the opportunity to swim in clear freshwater waterholes (safe from the toothy inhabitants) as well as discovering rock art left behind by ancient custodians.
There will also be time for fishing the pristine Kimberley waters, on our five metre tenders. A hook-up is almost guaranteed!
A visit to this area wouldn’t be complete without experiencing “one of the greatest natural wonders of the world”, as described by Sir David Attenborough … the famous Horizontal Falls.
