Once we land at our incredible destinations our guests are welcomed to country by their Kingfisher local guide and taken for fresh tea and damper, then off on the ground tour up the beautiful Mitchell Falls, along the north coast, into the Bungles or the famous Argyle Diamond mine. Our ground tours boast local produce and some bush tucker for lunches.
Guest accommodation is at our partner APT’s pristine wilderness and coastal lodges in the Bungle Bungles or Mitchell Falls. We are also able to provide beautiful accommodation in Kununurra through the Kununurra Country Club Resort for guests that wish to book a full package. We fly into El Questro, Emma Gorge, Home Valley, Berkeley River Resort, Kimberley Coastal Camp and Far Away Bay to pick up and drop off guests for any of our tours and are able to provide overnight packages at these locations. Waterfall Wanderer - a tour to the most majestic waterholes around Kununurra, to enjoy light walks, refreshing dips in freshwater springs and morning tea while learning about the Mirriwoong Country including the local Flora and Fauna.
Off The Beaten Track 4WD Adventure - a tour to places only locals know about. Depending on the season we'll spend the day chasing waterfalls, visiting ancient rock-art galleries, lunching on top of look outs and much more.
Departing Kununurra we head south over Lake Kununurra, the Packsaddle Irrigation area, and the upper Ord River on to Lake Argyle, flying over some of our vast cattle stations and the Osmond Ranges, then into the Bungle Bungle Range it is an imposing sight. The orange and black ribbons across the beehive-like mounds, are clearly visible as you approach from the north. We sweep further over the range and its hidden world of gorges and billabongs is revealed to further showcases Picanniny Gorge and the western escarpment, before setting course for the Argyle Diamond Mine, birthplace of the spectacular Argyle pink diamond. The western shoreline of Lake Argyle and the Carr Boyd Ranges lead us back to Kununurra where, as a special bonus, we over-fly the Lower Ord, Ivanhoe Crossing and the northern irrigated farmlands. This is a flight you will never forget!

Enjoy a scenic flight to Purnululu National Park, flying over Lake Kununurra, Lake Argyle and the Osmond Ranges, to land at the Bellburn airstrip and be welcomed to country by one of our local Aboriginal guides.
Your guide will take you on a 4WD to the walking trail where you commence on a bush tucker and bush medicine tour on your way to Cathedral Gorge. Your Kingfisher guide will sing beautiful songs of the gorges, that are 1000s of year old. Lunch is provided in the gorge, then head on to the lookout, learning about the cultural and geological history of the area.
Ice cold refreshments are provided on your return to the airstrip, with the option of a 30-minute helicopter flight, before embarking on the return flight to Kununurra, flying over the Argyle Diamond Mine, Carr Boyd Ranges and Ivanhoe Crossing. This is a fantastic day you will not forget. This tour is also available with pick-ups from Home Valley and El Questro. The K1-B1 is an extended ground tour that takes you around to the Northern gorges of the Bungles. To Echidna Gorge and Mini Palms lookout with an overnight stay. At the end of the walking tour, you can enjoy the afternoon having sunset drinks up at the massif lookout with your Kingfisher guide who will tell you the stories of their country. You will return to the lodge at dusk for a beautiful dinner and relaxing evening of stargazing and yarning around the campfire. On day 2 breakfast is provided at the lodge and time for you to relax before enjoying the scenic flight back to Kununurra, with an option of landing at Argyle Diamond Mine for the ground tour.

Day 2 in the Bungle Bungle Ranges includes trekking into the spectacular Echidna Chasm and Mini Palms walking trail where you will be astounded by your surroundings, and the incredible dreaming stories before heading to the look out where you can see the Echidna Cave. Enjoy sunset and your last night in the pristine environment of the Wilderness lodge.
Day 3 At 10:00am board your scenic flight back into Kununurra where you will fly over the Argyle Diamond Mine with an option of landing and joining the ground tour of the mine with Traditional Owner Ted Hall, or continue on the flight to the Carr Boyd Ranges, Ord Stage 2, overfly Ivanhoe Crossing, before landing in Kununurra.

This adventure-packed day showcases the Punamii-unpuu Hiking Trail, spectacular ancient rock paintings, and the iconic Mitchell Falls.
Departing Kununurra we track to the Cockburn Ranges, along the Pentecost River and onwards to the Mitchell Plateau for an 8am landing. We have morning tea at the international lounge then drive down an eye-catching bush track surrounded by ancient Livingstonia palms, to the Mertens campground (Ranger Base) and the start of the 4.5km Punamii-unpuu Hiking Trail.
Along the way swim, explore and enjoy trail snacks at the Little Mertens Falls. Be inspired and humbled by the mysterious, ancient rock art found beneath the falls, featuring the mythical Gwion Gwion spirit figures. Next stop is the awesome Big Mertens Falls and the upstream crossing of the Mitchell River before arriving at the spectacular Punamii-unpuu (Mitchell Falls). Here you have time to enjoy your lunch, relax and swim.
We then take an exhilarating helicopter ride over the Falls back to base where we drive back to the airfield for a well-earned cold beer, wine or a cup of tea, before the homeward flight, via the Cambridge Gulf, Wyndham and a low swoop over the Lower Ord wetlands. We also pick-up and drop-off at El Questro/ Emma Gorge/Home Valley/Wyndham and Broome.

In the culture of the Kimberley people, the Wandjinas are respected and sacred spirits, who bring water and life to a parched land.
Fly across to the Mitchell Falls, then continue to Port Warrender and the Kimberley Coastal Camp, the rich pearl farms and the historic WWII Truscott airbase and miles of exotic and pristine coastline. We arrive at the remote settlement of Kalumburu where our Wunambal guide will meet you for an incredible journey into the coastal communities. Our Kingfisher guide will take you to the Art Centre, historic WWII aircraft graveyard, amazing Gwion Gwion rock art sites that are all along the coast and to check out the beach; if the tide is low then oysters are on the menu with fresh periwinkles on the fire.
On the tour learn modern community life and how it encompasses cultural aboriginal practices including how the rock paintings were made 30,000 years ago. We then have a gorgeous picnic lunch before heading back to the airstrip for a stunning scenic flight along the remote Timor Sea coast, overflying Faraway Bay, the spectacular King George Falls, Berkeley River, and the mighty Cambridge Gulf. We track east over tidal floodplains and the Ord River Irrigation Area back to Kununurra, over Ivanhoe crossing. We also pick-up and drop-off at El Questro/ Emma Gorge/Home Valley/Wyndham and Broome.

This Kimberley Wilderness Adventure is an intimate, unhurried and complete coastal adventure over 2 full days.
DAY 1
We hike up the Punamii-unpuu walking trail, swim lunch at the falls and heli back and then drop you to your exclusive Mitchell Wilderness Camp for the night.
DAY 2
We pick you up after breakfast for an amazing day on the coast with our incredible guides out at Kalumburu and full coastal flight over King George Falls, Berkeley River, down to Adolphus island and over the mudflats of Wyndham and the lower Ord. We fly at 500 feet so you can the incredible marine life and huge crocodiles sunning themselves in the afternoon on the lower Ord river banks.

El Questro Homestead and Riverside Bungalows
We will fly you into El Questro landing on the remote airstrip tucked into the Cockburn Ranges, it has something for everyone to complement their Kimberley experience, whether you choose a luxurious stay, a room by the river, a tented cabin nestled in the wilderness or a night under canvas at El Questro Station. There are many ways to discover this ancient land and you’re free to choose whether to take to the skies, head out on foot, 4WD or cruise along its waterways. From the air you can take in the World Heritage listed Bungle Bungles or fly over the Cockburn Ranges past waterfalls, mud and salt-flats or you may want to pull on hiking boots and hike El Questro’s many magically rugged gorges and cliffs. If your sense of adventure needs a day off then head to El Questro’s watering holes, hot springs and waterfalls where you can do nothing but relax and unwind.
Home Valley Station
We will fly or drive you into the station airstrip located on the iconic Gibb River Road, Home Valley Station offers a range of accommodation, tours and activities for the ultimate outback experience. Once a working Cattle Station, Home Valley Station is brimming with natural attractions and is the perfect base for exploring the rugged Kimberley landscape.
During the day go in search of that elusive big barra, undertake one of the seven self-guided walks or witness the incredible sundown over the Cockburn Range. At night, join the lively atmosphere at 'The Dusty' for a cold brew, an Aussie bush tucker feast and live entertainment.

Fly out across to the Northern Territory, across the Keep River and the Victoria River District to Bullo Station . There are gorgeous comfortable rooms, tasty, wholesome meals and a cold drink at the end of the day will revive guests who have spent the day enjoying the stations many activities. Breakfast is usually served outside on the homestead veranda. Lunch can often be a picnic basket filled with fresh goodies just perfect to enjoy by waterholes, billabongs or under the stars, in the light of a campfire with new friends. Barramundi and prime organic beef from the surrounding pastures dominate the evening menu. We can cater for your dietary requirements but make sure to book in early for the overnight option as the Stations boutique accommodation is exclusive and books out fast.
