The Michael Herron Kimberley Painting and Drawing Workshop is open to all levels of artist. Basic materials required: ink, pastel, gouache and collage for works on paper, and acrylic for work on canvas.
Michael encourages you to take your own path. Start smaller in the field locations and develop larger works on paper or canvas in the bush studio (verandahs). At the end of the week we cap off the experience in Kimberley style, dressing up for an informal art exhibition with sparkling and nibbles.
Michael Herron has a professional art practice in Sydney, where he last exhibited in November 2022. He has taught at Willoughby Art Centre for a long time and has led leading outback painting expeditions for some time.
