Meet Pete the Karijini Adventurer
Pete is no ordinary bloke. He has spent most of his life paragliding, adventuring, sailing and travelling around the world, but he is most at home surrounded by the peaceful, rugged gorges of Karijini National Park.
No one knows the gorges of the Pilbara’s Karijini National Park like Pete does. In his former life he logged over 600 canyoning trips, taking visitors on epic abseiling adventures through majestic gorges, tubing through jade green natural pools, and wowing them with the sights of this ancient geological wonder.
Pete is forever touched by the spirituality of Karijini’s 2 billion year old landscape, and he shares a strong sentiment of caring for this special country with all his guests.
The pull of the Pilbara remains strong for this Aussie larrikin, whose great great grandfather lived in the region in the 1890s, and these days Pete is hosting visitors to the region on extended trips to see and experience some of the hidden wonders of the Pilbara.
