The Gibb Challenge

12th-19th May 2023

While most people travel the Gibb River Road in a comfortable 4WD car or tour bus, each May you'll find a group of hardy adventure seekers travelling on two wheels, and raising money for charity while they ride! The Gibb Challenge is a socially competitive 660 kilometre team relay event raising community awareness and funds for charity.

How to join: Form a team of 2-6 riders and raise at least $1000 each for The Gibb Challenges charity partner

Save the Date: Registrations will open in late 2022, with the event kicking off from 12th-19th May 2023.

AusCycling Fat Nat Champs

Friday 12th May 2022. The AusCycling Fat Bike National Championships are just the beginning of the eight day cycling celebrations and fellowship of The Gibb Challenge.The Championships are exclusively for riders of 'fatties'; bikes with wide, large volume balloon tyres between 3.8 inches (100 mm) and 5.5 inches (140 mm), and you'll find them racing on Cable Beach!

The Gibb Challenge 2023 - Charity Partner
