Kununurra Agricultural Show is held each July. This vibrant and unique community event has been running since 1972 and is a great addition to the Kimberley experience bucket list.
The Show includes competitive exhibitions of art, craft, cooking, livestock, pets, vehicles and machinery, gardens, crops and farm produce.
There are novelty events such as the Dog Show, Watermelon Olympics, Watermelon eating competition, Kimberley Cowboy and Hay Stacking Challenges, sideshows alley, machinery exhibits, cattle, equestrian and custom vehicle exhibits around the grounds.
There is entertainment, kid’s workshops, roving performers, areas for families to relax, a bar for revellers and fireworks on both nights.
