Get your glad rags and dancing shoes on and be ready to party on into the early hours! Proving nothing – not even a pandemic - is going to rain on this parade, Broome Mardi Gras has found a new BIGGER location, the Broome Turf Club, welcoming its largest crowd ever in the history of the event! 

With a superstar line up of DJ's, celebrity DJ Delicious, accompanied by WA talents Timbee, Dean Misdale & Freddy La Funk, the party also features the Kimberley Queen Competition. Who will unseat the 2021 winner Ordi Spice? You'll have to be there to find out! 

Life is a Cabaret, old chum!

With two private and fully booked airplane charters flying in especially for the festival, a second Cabaret Night has been added to the events calendar for 2022! Bring your old chums and meet some new ones at these always a sell-out Cabaret Nights!

Think Broome's own Drag Queens joined by friends from further afield, dancers of the pole, belly and burlesque persuasions, as well as performers from Broome's own dance school.

Broome may be a "small" town, but it sure has B I G  T A L E N T! 

Legs eleven, it's Drag Bingo!

Eyes down and ears open - it's bingo time! Also known as Broome's biggest ball drop, even if you don't know your two little ducks from your two fat ladies you won't want to miss this fun night of entertainment with Broome's own spectacular Drag Queens Jessica James and Sum Ting Wong. 

If you're a regular at the local Bingo Hall then you're in for a "RUDE" shock. Our Queens will be calling the numbers like they've never been called before. Prepare to dance to the tune of a number, be fined if you forget to call BINGAY and shout inappropriately on queue. It's a fun atmosphere where we make the rules that everyone tends to break!

The Big Splash Pool Party

Grab those Speedos and start working on that pool side pose. Get some spray tan oil on those guns and swing those hips to some groovy tunes! Then with a cocktail in one hand and a floating Flamingo in the other, get ready to get SPLASHED by the famous Foam Cannon!

Drag Queen Story Time

Join the Queens as they read age appropriate books and sing and dance with the Princesses and Fairies at the child-friendly Drag Queen Story Time event!

Parents and children, from toddlers to teens, will be able to meet the Queens and enjoy their fascinating stories, dance and singing. A fun and inclusive event for the entire family not to be missed! 

Exclusive Dragged around Broome Bus Tour!

Who doesn't want to be hosted on tour by Broome's own Drag Queens dressed in the most flamboyant dresses that would make even Diana Ross look shy!

Come and experience this extraordinary VIP tour that will show you the colourful culture of the town in a way you have never experienced before. Then finish your tour with a glass of bubbles!

Drag Queen Make-Up Workshop

A fun and fabulous event for kids to learn make-up techniques from our own Queens! We will practise newly found tips on contouring and highlighting and the kids will be taught the do’s and don’t’s when it comes to applying make-up and what colour suits who! 

There's an opportunity to practise on themselves and each other and make-up will be supplied for every attendee!

The Broome Pride Team are a creative and energetic bunch who always got some new fun up their sleeves. They've got a host of new Broome Pride Mardi Gras Community Events up their sequinned sleeves, like the 'Frock Ya Shop (window dressing competition for local businesses), 'Under 18's Mardi Gras Dance Party', 'Mardi Gras Breakfast', 'Kids Heels Workshop' and not to forget the repeat 'Mardi Gras Buzz Regatta!'

Plus you never know who'll turn up to your exercise class and transform it into a 'Dragged into Shape' event! Broome Mardi Gras is full of surprises!
