Many of the North West’s incredible natural attractions are located in the spectacular surroundings of our National Parks, including the ancient gorges and waterways of Karijini, the imposing striped domes of the Bungles and the incredible three-tiered Mitchell Falls. These are some of the world’s most amazing untouched wilderness areas, giving you a real Australian outback experience.
On this page you'll find information on national park entry fees in Kimberley and Pilbara regions of WA, as well as information on national park camping, including how to book online.
Park Entry Fees & Passes
The national parks are managed by the WA Parks and Wildlife Service, and a variety of facilities have been provided for visitors. Visitor fees apply to some parks; entry stations may be attended, automated or self-registration and while electronic payments are available in some places, it is recommended to travel with some cash.
Day entry fees
Private vehicle with up to 12 occupants: $15 per vehicle, concession $8 per vehicle
Private vehicle with more than 12 occupants: $7 per occupant 6 years or older, concession $2.50 per occupant

Park Passes
If you intend visiting several parks or are travelling for an extended period, a Holiday Park Pass (5 day, 14 day, 4 week) or an Annual All Parks Pass will be the best value. You can buy your park pass online from the WA Naturally website here; RAC members can get 50% off their digital park passes by purchasing through the RAC website here.
Three Holiday Pass options each provide unlimited entry to all parks; $60 for four weeks, $40 for 14 days, $25 for 5 days. An Annual All Parks Pass costs $120, or $75 with concession.

Caring for our National Parks
To help preserve these unique natural environments, avoid the use of sunscreen when planning to swim in gorge- and river-pools as it can be harmful to wildlife. Spinifex is fragile so please use the paths provided and do not make new tracks. Many sites in national parks have significance to Aboriginal people. Please do not interfere with cultural sites. Pets and firearms are not permitted in national parks. Please take all rubbish away with you.
When you are travelling through remote areas, advise the local park ranger, check information about track closures, and always pay close attention to road and weather conditions when driving.
