Spoilbank Marina

Spoilbank Road, off Sutherland St, Port Hedland

Located on the waterfront in Port Hedland, Spoilbank Marina is a modern coastal hub for boating, fishing and relaxed waterfront experiences. With space to unwind, family-friendly facilities and easy access to the water, it’s quickly become a popular spot for both locals and visitors.

Located in the historic West End of town, the marina brings together a mix of recreation and lifestyle experiences in one accessible location. Visitors can launch a boat, cast a line from the shore or simply enjoy the open waterfront, with views across the harbour and out to sea. It’s also a great place for families, with a well-designed playground that’s quickly become a favourite for local kids, while the nearby aquapark offers a fun way to cool off during the warmer months.

From here, you can also explore more of the Spoilbank precinct on foot, following a public art walking trail that connects a series of artworks along the waterfront. Sunset boat cruises depart from the marina, offering a different perspective of the coastline and harbour as the light changes across the water.

The precinct continues to evolve, with new hospitality experiences planned for the waterfront. A venue by Running with Thieves is set to open at the former yacht club site, adding a brewery and dining option to the growing marina hub.

Spoilbank Marina is easy to access and can be visited at any time of day — with sunrise and sunset offering some of the best views.
