BILL TATCHELL
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Bill lives eats and breathes tourism with past roles as a consultant, owner/operator and RTO leader. He has significant experience in the destination development space and is a ‘big picture’ thinker. He brings to the team a great amount of expertise and invaluable knowledge.
As the Chief Executive Officer at ANW, he leads our strategic direction as an organisation, ensuring we are consistently improving and evolving in line with our strategic plan. Meeting with stakeholders and industry to remain informed on the current market and challenges is a priority.
In his spare time, Bill loves spending time with family. He is a keen fisherman, unofficial horticulturalist and home chef (especially when a smoker is involved).
PAULA O’BRIEN
DESTINATION MARKETING, DIGITAL & PROJECTS
Paula supports the implementation of ANW’s strategic and operational plan through the planning and delivery of creative campaigns, content and collateral to relevant target markets.
Paula is also responsible for ANW’s website, image library and CRM, and represents ANW and its product in trade and consumer shows.
Paula moved to Australia and straight to the North West over 10 years ago, working at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm for four years before taking up her role with ANW.

ADMINISTRATION AND ACCOUNTS
Born and bred in the South West, Paige was drawn to the North West and moved to Broome in 2020. She started her career in bookkeeping with ANW while continuing her studies in Business & Bookkeeping and gaining work experience with several other businesses in Broome.
KIM BROWN
DESTINATION DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Kim has enjoyed a vibrant career in travel and tourism stemming across London, Chicago and Melbourne, before moving to Broome in 2016 to be closer to family.
Kim has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Tourism and Hospitality management and joined the ANW team in December 2023 following five years working with Regional Development Australia Kimberley.
Passionate about building effective working relationships, as the Destination Development Manager for ANW, Kim will be collaborating with ANW members, Government agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders to align efforts, enhance and promote the North West as a premier destination of choice and ensure that development benefits the community as a whole.
