Moochalabra Dam

Moochalabra Dam, situated near Wyndham, is a lovely spot for a picnic under the huge Boab tree.

Located 26 kilometres from Wydham, Moochalabra Dam is a great base from which to explore the nearby Aboriginal cave paintings or to watch the local wildlife. Moochalabra Creek crossing appears just before the dam turn-off.

Access to Moochalabra Dam is via the Gibb River Road or Great Northern Highway onto the unsealed King River Road, which suitable for four wheel drive vehicles only.
