Marble Bar Pool `A' Class Reserve
via Marble Bar Pool Rd, Marble Bar, 6760
Take a refreshing swim in the beautiful clear water of the Marble Bar Pool `A' Class Reserve.
This `A' Class Reserve and the nearby town took its name when the early pioneers thought they had found a "Marble Bar" which turned out to instead be a unique type of Jasper.
The bar crosses the Coongan River about 5 km west of the town and is signposted off General Street. The watering hole below the Bar is a popular swimming area for locals. Both the Marble Bar Pool and adjacent Chinaman’s Pool are suitable for swimming and picnicking.
Please note that fines of up to $10,000 apply if rocks are removed from the Marble Bar and Chinaman's Pool area.
