Adcock Gorge
Adcock Gorge, Wunaamin Miliwundi Ranges Conservation Park, 6728
Adcock Gorge is a picturesque gorge and swimming spot on Mt House station, approximately 5 kilometres off the Gibb River Road. The driving track is 4WD only.
From the carpark, it is a short but uneven walk (0.6km) to the gorge, crossing a lily pond and scrambling over some boulders before reaching the waterfall and deep, shaded pool, bordered by the walls of the gorge on three sides.
Adcock Gorge is a day-use only area; there is no camping.
Travelling east from Adcock Gorge, it's approximately 20km to Galvans Gorge, or 34km to Mt Barnett Roadhouse. Travelling west, it's approximately 42km to Imintjii Campground and Community Store.
Adcock Gorge is located approximately 20 kilometres west of Galvans Gorge.
