The scenic lookout at the top of Mount Welcome offers views across Roebourne, the coastal plains and the surrounding hills.
Great 180 degree views across Roebourne and surrounding hinterland, includes multilingual signage outlining the history of the Roebourne township and the indigenous significance of Mt Welcome. A drive to the top of Mount Welcome offers views of the town, coastal plains and rugged hills.
At the lookout, take in the silhouette statues of six Aboriginal men all with spear in one hand and standing on one leg. These statues represent the immediate neighbours of the Ngarluma people, each facing their own country.
Access to Mount Welcome lookout is via Water Tank Access Road.
